Our family story
The beginning
Two campuses, one family
Two campuses, one family. Brent was born on the Gold Coast and has spent nearly 20 years in early learning. He previously owned a boutique group of early learning campuses and has been involved with the Australian Childcare Alliance, the peak body representing the early education and care sector, for many years. Kelly brings the parent's eye, the perspective, expectations and questions that naturally come when it is your own child walking through the door.
Together, they own and operate two Beach Kids campuses: Cabarita and Chinderah.
Two is deliberate. It is enough to share knowledge, experience, and resources, while still being small enough for the owners to remain genuinely connected to the families, educators, and children.
Family ownership isn't a marketing line here. The people making decisions about your child's experience are the same people you can stop and talk to at pick-up. That connection matters to us, because we believe families deserve to know who is behind their child's early learning experience.

This place
A childhood that belongs to the Tweed
Growing up here should mean something. Our children know the estuary and the headland, the birds that come through in spring, the difference between a calm morning and a big swell.
So we built the program around it. Bush Kinder and Beach Kinder take children into the landscape regularly, and we work with local people and organisations who care about the same coast.

Early childhood has a retention problem, and children pay for it in goodbyes. We take the opposite approach: invest in our educators, support their study, keep the teams stable and treat the job as a career.
