Why you should choose us?

Our philosophy is founded on the knowledge that successful early childhood development comes from engagement in social, emotional, cognitive, physical and aesthetic experiences. It is this holistic approach that allows children to develop to their full potential.

Our amazing group of early childhood educators are the key to our success. They are valued, respected and empowered, allowing them to treat each child individually, giving them the freedom to express, explore and discover. We cater to the specific needs of every child entrusted to our education and care (every child is special!). Above all, we give every child the space and atmosphere to be unique and flourish.

Nature and outside exploration are emphasised at Beach Kids, and we see to it that all children feel safe and secure while exploring the world around them.

We recognise that every family is different, and every child has special individual abilities and skills. That’s why we always tailor our programs to suit every child’s needs and learning capacities.

Start Your Child

Getting your child (and yourself) ready to begin

When your child first begins their early learning or transitions from another centre, it may be overwhelming for them and you.

It’s important that you ease them into this new and exciting time, making the process fun and positive so that it becomes a truly rewarding experience. All children adapt differently, so it’s crucial to give them plenty of time and space to work out their feelings.

Here are a few handy tips that can help you give your child the best opportunity:

Be consistent with timing

Children internally clock how much time you spend apart from them, so it is important to be consistent with them from the very beginning.

Resilience

Remember this process is a learning experience.

Building a sense of resilience to adapt to change throughout their life.

Initial visit

It is perfectly ok to stay for a couple of hours, or even for a couple of days to ensure you and your child get adequately acquainted with the new educators and classroom. Your child will likely be much more comfortable and will not need so much time with you there to feel confident staying alone.

Children sense how their family is feeling

If you are anxious and uncomfortable, they will be too therefore it’s important to keep the transition as positive as possible. Explain why you are leaving and when you will be back to ease any worries they may have.

Prepare your child for a lifetime of learning.
